Group properties form

Key point: Set values of properties for tasks, workflows, notification and index.

Configurable on the following pages, group properties are used for:

Tasks and document workflow

The default list of statuses is the list for approvers. Clear the checkbox on the right if you don't want to use the default settings for the group/project. If not using the default settings, you can edit the following settings.

Priority

Click the icon to edit the comma-separated list of priority values for tasks and workflows; these are listed from highest to lowest.

Task statuses and Workflow statuses

Click the icon to edit the comma-separated list of status values for tasks or workflows in the corresponding field. These are listed in lifecycle order for both tasks and workflows.

In the tables, you can click the checkboxes corresponding to each role to permit use of each status value.

Mark as Active – Click the checkboxes in the row to set the status values that display an active status.

Broadcast Approvers – Click the checkboxes in the row to set the status values that result in notification to all members with a role of approver.

Notification settings

Clear the checkbox on the right if you don’t want to use the default message settings. If not using default settings, you can set the following values:

  • Notify from address – the options for the from address on notifications and how to handle emails that can’t be delivered (bounces) are as follows:
    • Send bounces to whole group: any bounces become group comments.
    • Send bounces to returned mail address: any bounces are sent to Returned mail address property if specified.
    • Unique member address ignoring bounces (default) : use an address unique to each member and ignore bounces.
    • Fixed address ignoring bounces: use the same email address for all members and ignore bounces.
  • Rejected mail address – email address that receives incoming emails that are rejected by PageSeeder.
  • Returned mail address – email address that receives emails that have been returned as they can’t be delivered (bounces).
  • Error report address – email address that received error reports.
  • Ignore attachment if smaller than (bytes) – enter the minimum size for attachments on incoming emails.
  • Mail new thread by title – select the checkbox to create a new discussion when an incoming reply email has a different subject to the discussion.
  • Strip HTML email footer – clear the checkbox to keep the email footer on incoming emails.
  • Email footer start – the start of the email footer that PageSeeder strips.

Index

Clear the checkbox on the right if you don’t want to use the default settings. If not using default, you can click the checkbox to:

  • Disable indexing – disable the indexing process for the group.
  • Index document versions – include document versions in the indexing process.
  • Index X-Fields – includes metadata from non-PSML document as fields prefixed by x- .

You can omit top level folders in a group from the indexing process by adding folder names separated by commas in the “Index ignore folders” field.

Click the Submit button to accept any edits to the group properties.
