You can now compare documents between any edit or workflow change in the document history. So you can see the changes more precisely at the document level.
You can track changes by author in the fragment history panel. PageSeeder tracks every piece of text and reports who the author is so that you can quickly identify who wrote the text and when it was edited.
Our editing environment now displays real-time details when another user is editing the same document. This feature makes it easier to avoid edit collisions and to work with other people on the same documents.
PageSeeder automatically saves your edits as drafts when you stop typing or navigate away from your fragment. But if a user forgets to save their changes, it makes it difficult for other users to contribute.
So we’ve added options to let contributors review and accept or reject the draft of another contributor.
You can add notes to your edits directly from the validation results.
You can view edit notes in a tooltip.
By default, dialogs prevent any interaction with the main content. We’ve added an option to dock your dialog to the side for situations where it could be useful.
Although PSML always supported roles on cells and rows, we’ve made it easier to specify roles for them in the editor. You can also configure which roles to use in your templates so that an author can select predefined roles to ensure they are used consistently throughout your documents.
We’ve tried to support Internet Explorer for as long as we could but feel this is no longer worth it. There are many alternatives to Internet Explorer that provide a more secure environment and a better user experience. As many platforms have already dropped their support for IE, we’ve decided it was time for us to do the same and focus our efforts on modern browsers.
PageSeeder might still work on Internet Explorer but we are no longer committed to making sure it works with every update.
