Typography assistance

PageSeeder now provides additional tools to help you produce quality typography.

When viewing your document, the typography option automatically highlights paragraphs, non-breaking spaces and special characters.

When you’re editing:

  • Non-breaking spaces are automatically highlighted and you can insert a non-breaking space using Shift+Space.
  • PageSeeder automatically applies the left and right quotation marks as you type like Word processors “smart quote” feature. It automatically recognises common English contractions. You can cancel the change using the undo function or with Control+Z.

Archived comments

You can now see archived comments, discussions and tasks if you enabled that option in your personal preferences.

When this option is enabled, archived tasks and discussions are listed on the discussions page, and document discussions panel. Archived comments are included whenever you view a discussion or task.

Archived comments are not included in search results and do not appear in your search even when that option is enabled.

If you’re a manager of the group, you can also unarchive the comment.

Improved comparisons

We’ve reworked our side-by-side comparison tool to ensure that it handles tables better and lets you track the edits and author for every change.

Revert to version

From the document comparison, approvers can now revert a document to a specific version.
