How to use a custom style for a document

Key point: Create or edit a style template.

Prerequisites

You must be manager of the project to manage document styles.

First, go to the template configuration page

  1. Go to the project dashboard page.
    1. Click the   icon in the header bar if you’re in the group or project.
      1. If you are in the group and click the  , it opens the group dashboard. In the main section, click Project TemplateCONFIG. The template configuration page for the project opens.
    2. OR click the   admin link to the right of the project name in the navigation menu.
      1. In the administration menu, click   Template > Template configuration. The template configuration page for the project opens.

If a style sheet does not exist...

In the table, in the row corresponding to your document type and the column Style, click the create button to open the template file panel on the right.

Or if a style sheet already exists...

In the table, in the row corresponding to your document type and the column Style, click the edit button to open the  template file panel to the right.

Editing the style sheet (document.css)

The template file panel contains the code for a style template.

If you created a new style template, the code includes a default template file with examples. You can uncomment the code you would like to use and remove or edit the rest to suit your needs.

If the style template already exists, you can edit the content.

Once you save your changes, the updated styles take effect immediately for all documents.
