Administration menu

Key point: Collapsible menu in the group management and system administration interface.

Available to members with a role of manager or higher, this menu appears on the left-hand side of all administration and management pages.

Only the administrator role gives you access to everything. Project manager role only gives you access to admin for the particular project.

How to view the administration menus

Following are some of the available ways to view the administration menus for groups, projects and system administration.

The group administration menu is available when in a group, to the following roles:

When in a group, you can do one of the following to see the menu:

Click the icon in the header bar.
From the navigation menu, hold the cursor over GROUP Group home or Members, then click Admin on the right.
From the navigation menu, under GROUPS AND PROJECTS, hold the cursor over the group name and click the Admin option on the right.

In the group menu, the Import members page is only available if the user is an administrator.

If a group is archived, only the dashboard is available, with an option to unarchive the group.

The project administration menu is available when in a project, to the following roles:

When in a project or group, you can do the following:

Click the icon in the header bar.
From the navigation menu, hold the cursor over any of the menu items under PROJECT and then click Admin on the right.
From the navigation menu, under PROJECTS AND GROUPS, hold the cursor over a project name and click the Admin option on the right.
When viewing a group administration menu, and if you are also a manager of the parent project, click the [project name] at the bottom of the menu.

In the project menu, some pages are only available to administrators:

If a project is archived, only the dashboard is available, with an option to unarchive the project.
