Template file panel

Key point: View or edit a project template file.

This panel is accessible from the administrator interface when you view/edit a file used in a project template, for example, the document template. They are usually, XSLT, XML, CSS, XML, PSML or JS files.

If the file already exists, it loads the file and displays its content.

If it doesn’t exist, the content is pre-filled with a basic sample file with comments and examples so that developers don’t have to write it from scratch and can edit and save the file.  For example, when loading a new document template, the code editor contains a basic sample document template. Built-in PageSeeder files are automatically validated.
