How to post a comment on a page in a PDF document

Key point: Post a comment on a particular page in a PDF document.

Prerequisites

You must have a role of Reviewer or higher.

To post a comment on a particular page in a PDF document:

  1. Click the icon on the top right of the PDF page to open the comment dialog.
  2. Fill in the form:
    1. Enter a title for your comment in the Title field.
    2. Enter the text of your comment in the Your comment field.
    3. To make the comment a task, click the Make this comment a task option and set a Status.
    4. For optional fields, follow steps 5 onwards in how to post a comment on a document.
  3. After the comment is posted,  icon appears after the icon.

To view the comment, you can do the following:

  1. Click the   icon to the right of a particular PDF page to see only comments on that page, OR
  2. Click the icon in the right sidebar to view a list of all discussions on the document, organized by context.

To view a comment that was made into a task:

  1. Click the icon to the right of a particular PDF page to see only tasks on that page, OR
  2. Click the icon in the right sidebar to view a list of all tasks on the document, ordered by priority and due date.
