This page lets you browse all the comments that have been posted in your group in either a discussion or a task.
They are organized by threads. You can use the discussions list panel to the left
to navigate to a specific thread. Click the
Use the plus button on the right to create a new task or discussion.
The
Discussions that have been made into tasks are also listed on this page. You can also view tasks in your group on the tasks page or in the document tasks panel when viewing a document.
Each thread in the list displays:

The full discussion is displayed with individual comments returned in chronological order.

If the discussion is posted against a document, URL or fragment, the context is shown
at the top in a callout box with the
You can click the
If the discussion is a task, the task properties (status, priority, assignee and due date) are displayed at the top. They reflect the current state of the task.
They are automatically updated as the task is updated, for example if you reply and change any of the task properties.
Each comment follows the same format.
The author’s name alongside their personal profile icon is displayed on the left and the time elapsed since the comment was originally posted to the right following the comment options. You hold the cursor over the time to see the exact date and time.
If the comment is part of a task, only the task properties which have changed since the last comment are shown at the top of the comment.
The comment itself is shown within a lightly colored box or speech bubble.
If the comment includes any attachments, they are listed after the text. Images and PDF also show a thumbnail – click the thumbnail to zoom in/out of the image to see a preview of the content.
If the comment has any labels, they are listed after the attachment.
If the comment content was modified, only the details of the most recent modification
displays, following the comment content, on the right. The details are preceded by
a grey
The comment options let you modify an individual comment.
On the right, depending on your role in the group, the comment can be:
Members with the role of contributor can edit or archive their own comments only. Managers (and higher) can edit and archive any comment.
Click the Reply button at the bottom of the discussion thread to open the reply dialog.
When replying from the user interface, the reply only contains the reply comment. But by email, we can’t control it, so to avoid content being repeated, PageSeeder prunes out what looks like a copy of previous comments.
