Group property

Key point: A key-value pair defined in the configuration that applies to a group.

Group properties are used to define:

  • The possible priority and status values for the tasks and document workflows in the group.
  • How email messages generated from comments or tasks are handled, including minimum file size for attachments, and the returned and rejected email addresses.

Configuration

Only managers and administrators can change the group properties. The group properties are defined in the group configuration page or project configuration page

If the group doesn’t have any specific group properties, they are inherited from the project.

Customizing the group properties at the group level isn’t recommended. It’s preferred to define them at the project level.

Group properties defined in the global template are used as the default for all groups.

For developers: For more details on how to configure the group properties, see the group properties configuration guide on the PageSeeder developers’ Website.
