Compare documents panel
This panel lets you select documents to view or compare in the main section of the page.
When viewing a PSML document, the document comparison feature is available when you click the icon in the left sidebar. When the panel opens on the left, the default is the Versions tab and the current document view.
At the top of the panel, a different tab is provided for each type of comparison. You can view and compare:
- Document versions.
- Document history.
- Document variations.
- Other documents.
In all the tabs...
- When you click the View button – the selected document version or variation replaces the current document in the main section of the page.
- When you click the Compare button or when you select another document for comparison – the user interface switches to document comparison mode providing different document toolbar buttons to compare the various aspects of the document.
When using the compare function or viewing any version other than the current version, documents are readonly.
In review or edit mode, you can only compare a version against a previous version or history.
