URL cards display information about a URL from the metadata provided by the external Website.
PageSeeder uses metadata provided by the Open Graph protocol or Twitter card meta tags. But it can also list metadata from Dublin Core and any other meta tags.

The URL metadata status is indicated using an icon on the top-right corner of the card.

Either way, PageSeeder lets you know in the card. If you’re an administrator, you can automatically update the URL and links to it from the card.
The update options are also available if you are a contributor or higher in a group that has the edit all URLs option selected in the advanced options ( group).
URL cards are displayed either horizontally or vertically.
The compact format is used in dialogs such as the URL dialog and link dialog to help you identify the URL quickly.
The vertical format is used in the document view page and preview document panel.
