Error reporting dialog

Key point: Report an error to the PageSeeder development team.

The error report dialog opens when you click the Report bug button on an error page or error message that shows at the top of the page when a server error occurs.

You see a yellow box with a icon and a message indicating you have encountered an error and that reporting the bug might help to improve the system.

You view the information that is submitted about the error by clicking the show details option on the right.

Optionally, in the field provided, you can enter a description of the error or any detail you might want to provide about what you encountered.

Software glitches and bugs can occasionally make their way into PageSeeder. Submitting an error report and providing additional error details can be very useful to help us track down the problem and fix it.

We do not include any private information and the information is sent directly to us.

Click the Send report button to report the bug.

For administrators

PageSeeder is configured to send errors to the PageSeeder support team by default.

If you want to send to a different email address, you can do so by changing the group property errorReportAddress.
