Key point: Search documents, comments, tasks and more in PageSeeder.

To go to the Search page, put the cursor or some text into the search bar and press the Enter key.

This displays a page with options for improving the results of a search.

Depending on the current context, this might be the:

group search if you currently in a group – icon to the right end of the bar.
project search if you’re currently in a project – icon to right end of the bar.
or global search.

All three pages work in the same manner.

Search bar

The search bar is always available regardless of the context and lets you enter the text or query to search. PageSeeder supports common Boolean operators and provides shortcuts to let you refine you search directly using the keyboard.

There is no search button, PageSeeder always triggers the search and displays the results when you press Enter.

Search filters

Use search filters to add additional search criteria to refine your search. The search results are updated automatically when you change or apply a new filter.

Use search options to change how you display the search results.

How to find this page

Search results

The search results can be formatted as:

A list with a predefined format for each result.
A table where columns can be added, removed, sorted and resized.
An editable spreadsheet to quickly edit individual values.
A grid-like structure most suited for images.
