Transclusion

Key point: A type of xref that is resolved, so that the referenced content is included directly.

A transclusion is a type of block xref. It is resolved directly, so that the referenced content (a document or part of a document) appears directly within the source document.

For more information, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transclusion.

Transclusions and embedded xrefs

Transclusions and embedded xrefs are similar but designed for a different purpose. See transclusions and embedded xrefs for a detailed explanation about their differences.
