Activity panel

Key point: Navigate documents by daily activity in your group.

This panel lists all the recent document activities that occurred in your group. They are organized by date and document.

To go to each document, click the document title or the or icon to the right of the short description of any activity listed under that document.

This panel is available from any document. It’s useful to navigate between documents where some activity has been recently recorded. Be aware that all the links in this panel take you to the corresponding document.

For more advanced filtering options, use the document activity page instead.

Activities

To help you identify the activity quickly, PageSeeder uses the same icons throughout the user interface. For a description of these icons, see the activity icons.

When you expand the document by clicking the icon, you can see for each activity:

  • The type of activity indicated by the activity icon followed by a short description. Events of the same type by the same author occurring on the same day are grouped and displayed as one, with the number of events to the right of the description.
  • An optional link to the details of the activity. Refer to the document activity page to know which panel opens for each activity.
  • The authors involved in the activity represented by their account avatar.
  • The time the activity occurred.

Filtering options

There might be many events in your group – this panel provides two basic filtering options.

By default, you see a message in a yellow box indicating that only edits, workflows, modifications, comments and tasks are shown. To display all the activities, select Show all events at the top of the panel.

Select Publication only to only display activities for documents belonging to the current publication. This option is disabled if the document is not part of a publication.

How to find this page
