PSML configuration files are used not only to control custom document types but also to add style or validation rules to standard document types.
They are used in particular to:
- define a specific template using
- define how documents are created, edited and published using
- specify how documents are displayed in the user interface using
- specify validation rules to enforce constraints on the structure and semantics of the document using the PSML Schematron configuration.
Creation & maintenance
The easiest way to create and manage these files is with the Dev > Document Types page. But they can also be uploaded with Dev > Project files.
