Add or edit cover dialog

Key point: Lets you add or edit a cover for your document, either a solid color or an image.

This dialog lets you choose how to display your document in PageSeeder search results and the list of publications.

Documents that are part of a publication show the publication cover by default, that is, the cover assigned to the root document of the publication. If a document has its own cover, it is displayed in preference to the publication cover.

The publication cover is also used in the list of publications on the group homepage.

Select color

Select Color to use a basic colored cover, then click the RGB* color input field to open the color picker to choose your preferred color. You can also enter a hexadecimal color code directly into the RGB field.

PageSeeder automatically includes the title of the document as part of the cover image when using a colored cover.

Select image

Select Image to use an image as a cover. Click Select image or Change to select an existing image or upload a new image to use as your cover.

When an image is used as a cover, PageSeeder doesn’t add the document title to the cover image.

How to find this page
