Tables can contain some block-level elements such as paragraphs, lists and preformatted content.
Headings are not allowed in table cells.
Tables aren’t designed to contain paragraphs by default. Many tables contain short pieces of content such as single words or numbers that don’t need to be wrapped in a paragraph. Table headings rarely need to contain paragraphs.
Paragraphs are allowed in case you need to have content that spans over multiple lines, but if you use paragraphs, it affects the vertical margins as most table cells have margins attached to them. So when you mix cells with paragraphs with cells without paragraphs, the vertical alignment won't be consistent. Using line breaks instead of paragraphs might be a suitable alternative. Similar to paragraphs, the content of any lists or preformatted content is also affected by cell margins.
See usage of paragraphs in PSML for further explanations.
Nesting tables is not allowed.
