Move document/folder dialog

Key point: Move a document or folder to a different folder.

Folders and documents can be moved to a different folder in the same group, or to a location in another group that you are a member of.

Once moved to a new group, all discussions on documents are available to that group.

Move a document

When viewing the group documents page, clicking the Move option to the right of a document opens the dialog. The name of your selected document to move is shown at the top.

The current group is shown in the Move to group... field. You can start typing a different group name and choose from the list of auto-suggested groups.

In the Move to folder... field, you can navigate to a folder in your selected group, or you can create a new folder to move your document to. Type a name for the new folder and click the icon, or click the icon to remove the name if you change your mind.
