Organization page

Key point: Manage the organization settings for your developer or service-provider license.

This page displays the organization configuration applied to your PageSeeder instance to help administrators review how they affect the user interface and the security settings.

It can also help you diagnose issues:

  • If your license doesn’t support organization customization, you see a message to let you know which licenses support it.
  • If you haven’t defined a global template, it prompts you to create one.

The organization config file link at the top opens the template file panel so that you can edit the organization configuration in the panel. Then after you Save, reload the settings using the Reload at the bottom of the page and  also refresh the page to verify that your changes have had the intended effect.

User interface customization

You can see the visual effect of the organization configuration on the UI.

It shows when a specific theme is set for your server or if users are free to choose their own theme.

It also lets you preview the logo and icons used in the header bar and the public pages such as the sign in page. If you cannot see the images you have selected, ensure that they are available in your global template.

If any legal documents have been defined, they are listed and can be edited in the template file panel.

If you have configured the homepage for users, the links and widgets are listed. The widget configuration is explained in a table to the left and a preview of how the widgets are laid out is shown to the right. You can hold the cursor over the table rows or widget preview to see how they match.

Security customization

If the security settings are customized, they are displayed here so that you can also review them.

Sign-in restrictions

It lists restrictions affecting the ability to sign in:

  • The list of groups or projects that a user must belong to.
  • The list of email domains that let users sign in – only users who have an email address from these domains can sign in.

If there are no groups/project or email domains listed, there are no restrictions.

Security tokens

If the security tokens have been customized to use values different from PageSeeders defaults, they are listed here.
