Link
A link points to a page or resource that is managed outside PageSeeder. Such resources are denoted by a URL and can be:
- An address for a page on an external website.
- An address for a page in the PageSeeder user interface.
- An address that points to a video or audio resource hosted externally.
- A virtual address or identifier.
You can attach semantics to PageSeeder links using labels.
Unlike links in conventional HTML, PageSeeder maintains a two-way reference between the URL and the source document. This feature lets you see which documents point to a specific URL and automatically update documents when the URL changes.
To know more about the target of a link in PageSeeder, when viewing a document in review mode, hold your mouse over the link to view the link tooltip.
Creating links
You can create links with the link dialog form:
- Inside a fragment of a PSML document.
- As a property in a properties fragment or document metadata.
- In a region within a PDF or image.
