When certain events occur in a PageSeeder group, email notifications (messages) are sent to members. Who is notified, and when, depends on the options of the event and the notification settings for the member in a particular group.
For example, when a comment is created with notify set to Normal, it is emailed to all group members that have a notification setting of normal. Any member with an account setting of Daily digest or Weekly digest receives all comments as a single email message sent daily or weekly, instead of when they are posted.
For each group, you can control how frequently you are contacted by each group:
The daily or weekly digest is a single email containing the list of all message notifications sent since the previous digest.
Regardless of your group notification settings, you won't miss out. You still receive announcements from the group and other system notifications sent when you change your email or password, or when you are invited to another group.
