Project labels (manage) page

Key point: Manage labels used in all the groups within a project.

You can customize the labels for a project – select the checkbox if you want to use the default configuration. Different types of labels can be created for the following objects and content in a project:

  • Comments & tasks
  • Documents
  • Document creation
  • Document uploads
  • Edit notes
  • Fragments
  • URLs
  • Versions
  • Workflows
  • Cross-references
  • PSML block elements
  • PSML inline elements

Creating project labels

To create a new label on the project page, enter a name and an optional editable short description, then click the icon.

A icon and message reminds you to save your changes to any labels – either press Ctrl + S or scroll to the bottom of the labels page and click the Save button.

Labels for PSML block elements and PSML inline elements are shown near the bottom of the labels page. You can choose a color for these labels by clicking the icon to the left of each label name. The label color is used when this label is displayed in a document.

For administrators

If you’re an administrator, the number of times a label is used, in all the groups in the project, is displayed on the right. Click the icon to show a list of these usages in a panel on the right.

Labels can be added to objects or content, other than through the project labels page. If any such labels are not configured, Administrators can see a button with “Add X labels” following the labels type. Click this button if you want to add these labels to the project. To cancel adding them to the project, click the icon to the right.
