Because projects are essentially containers for groups, maintenance tasks for projects are limited to archiving or deleting the project.
Click Archive if you want to archive a project and all the groups and subprojects under it.
Archiving a project archives all the groups/subprojects under that project, some of which the manager might not be a member of, so can’t be seen.
Also, if they archive some groups before the project, it is then renamed to [project]_1
and managers can't rename it back.
When the project is archived:
/archive/sample/ps
.
By default, this option is disabled on PageSeeder. Administrators can enable project deletion – see delete.
Click Delete if you want to permanently delete the project and project template. All the project’s groups and subprojects must be deleted or archived before deleting the project.
This operation is irreversible. When you delete the project, all content is permanently removed from PageSeeder – both in the database and file system – with no option to recover.
