Document developer panel

When developer view is enabled, the document developer panel has options which expose tools that help develop or support PageSeeder apps.

Config tab

Document type

You see the document type and properties.

Media type extension

Configuration files

Configuration files can be created, edited or the default can be viewed.

Validation files

The available validation files for the document can be viewed by clicking the view option to open the Template file panel on the right. 

Click the Manage document types button at the bottom to open the Template configuration page page for your project.

Click the Edit project files button to open the Template files page for your project.

URL type

When viewing a URL document, you see the URL type. 

Click the Reprocess data button to extract data when your URL template has been changed, or when the metadata for the source websites might have changed.

You see the configuration and validation files. 

Click the Manage URL types button at the bottom to open the Template configuration page page.

Click the Edit global files button to open the Template files management page.

Template tab

You can view the structure, template and source XML code for your document.

Metadata tab

If your document has metadata attached, for example, to an image, PDF or URL, you see a Metadata tab. Click to view any metadata attached to your document.

Index tab

This tab displays a table showing parameters and their values for the document, followed by a Legend for the icons used in the table.

To re-index the document, click the Re-index document button at the top of the panel.

Source tab

You can see the PSML source for your document when you click the Source tab. If prompted by support, you can also click Clear cache.
