The URL bookmarklet is a bookmark stored in your web browser that contains JavaScript commands to help you to save a URL in PageSeeder. You usually place the bookmarklet on the bookmarks toolbar of your browser so that it is convenient to access while you are browsing other sites.
When you click the bookmark, it opens a PageSeeder dialog with prefilled information about the page you’re currently viewing. Alternatively, you can open the dialog from the PageSeeder user interface and enter the details manually. The bookmarklet is a convenient mechanism to automate that process.

If you aren’t currently signed in when you click a bookmarklet, the dialog asks you to sign in before showing you the URL dialog form.
It only sends the URL of the page you are viewing when you click the bookmarklet and the dialog opens to allow you to register the URL in PageSeeder for convenience.
The PageSeeder URL bookmarklet is safe to use and respects your privacy. It doesn’t include any tracker and doesn’t send any data or personal information anywhere but your PageSeeder instance.
