This page lets administrators view at a glance, which internal caches have been populated.
For example, if publish or validation operations are slow, it might be that the xml-documents
cache has been lost. If the number of elements in it is small (usually there is one
per document), then this cache can be primed by re-indexing the server overnight.
Administrators can also clear individual caches or clear all the cache.
There is usually no reason to clear the cache in PageSeeder. Caches are already configured for the most common scenarios.
It is usually safe to clear the cache, but it might affect performance or user experience, as many operations in PageSeeder expect primed caches.
